These reports contain important information about the drinking water quality. We perform numerous tests on the water, throughout the year. The results of those tests are provided in an annual report that we call the Drinking Water Quality Report, also known as Consumer Confidence Report (CCR).

If you have any questions or would like to request a printed copy of the annual Drinking Water Quality Report, please contact our office at (239) 658-3630.

What is the Consumer Confidence Report?

By July 1 each year, every drinking water utility is required to issue a water quality report to their customers. This report provides you with information on our source water, levels of any detected contaminants, and our compliance with drinking water rules. This report is provided on our website in English, Spanish, and Creole.

This report indicates if any violations occurred during the reporting period. The maximum contaminant level (MCL) is listed for the various substances found in the water system. If the level of a substance is higher than the MCL, it represents a violation. If a violation has occurred, the report will include information of the possible health effects that may be associated with that contaminant.

EPA requires monitoring of over 80 drinking water contaminants. If a particular contaminant is not listed on the report, it means that it either has not been found in the water, or the water has not been tested for it.
