As part of an effort to improve transparency and accountability as a special district, we are required to establish clear goals and track our progress. These steps will help ensure that we are effectively serving our customers and making measurable improvements. Below are the key requirements for districts to follow, along with how we will report our progress.

By October 1, 2024, all special districts must set clear goals for the services they provide. This is important for guiding their work and making sure they are accountable to the people they serve. Along with these goals, districts must also set up ways to measure their progress and check if they are meeting their objectives. An annual report will be due on December 1, 2025, and each year thereafter. These practices are in accordance with Section 189.0694, F.S.
