The Drop Savers Poster Contest, organized annually by the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA), brings students together to explore the importance of water conservation through creativity and education. By engaging young minds early, the program helps build an understanding of water quality and encourages lifelong appreciation for conserving one of our most vital resources.

Water utilities across the state participate by hosting local contests in collaboration with nearby schools, tailoring prizes to their communities while fostering meaningful connections with students, educators, and residents. Our District is proud to be part of this impactful initiative and looks forward to hosting the contest each year.

2026 Drop Savers Contest

Updated on 07/22/2026 2:46 PM

Our annual Drop Savers Water Conservation Poster Contest was once again a tremendous success! Students from our local middle school showcased their creativity and passion, delivering powerful visual messages that highlight the importance of protecting one of our most precious resources -- Water! Each submission reflected thoughtful ideas, artistic talent, and a genuine commitment to environmental stewardship.

We are incredibly proud of all the students for their outstanding work and dedication to raising awareness about water conservation. Their efforts not only inspire others to take action but also remind us that even small changes can make a big impact.

A special thank you to our generous sponsor, First Bank, for supporting this event. We also thank the Immokalee Middle School art teachers for giving students the opportunity to participate and share their talents. Great job to everyone involved!
