NOTICE OF INTENDED DECISION FOR AWARD OF CONTRACT – ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE/SMART UTILITY SOLUTION – WATER & SEWER SERVICES

Recommended Action - Motion to approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute Agreement for Smart Utility Solution Services between Immokalee Water and Sewer District and Core & Main LP contingent on review by the Immokalee Water & Sewer District (IWSD) General Counsel.

Requests for Proposal’s (RFP’s) were requested from consultants/contractors for the purpose of providing a technology solution for monitoring and metering the District’s Water and Sewer infrastructure. The solution will provide flow, pressure, and water quality monitoring as well as flow and level monitoring for the wastewater collection system. One (1) proposal was received by the February 5, 2024 submittal deadline and was evaluated and ranked by the District’s Professional Services Evaluation Committee (PSEC) in accordance with the IWSD Procurement Policy. Staff recommends that the IWSD Board of Commissioners approve the PSEC ranking and award a contract to Core & Main LP at the IWSD Board Meeting on February 21, 2024.

Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statues, or failure to post the bond or other security requirement by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceeding under chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
