The District is issuing a boil water notice beginning February 01, 2024, due to the replacement of a fire hydrant and broken hydrant valve located on the corner of Chadwick Circle and Eggplant Lane within the Farm Workers Village housing community. At this time, approximately thirty (30) customers are affected. Customers located in the area are asked to boil their water until bacteriological tests are taken and cleared.
If a notice was not hand delivered to your residence or business, your service will not be disrupted, and you will not be affected by the boil water notice.
As a precaution, it is advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, washing food or brushing teeth be brought to a full boil for at least one full minute. This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until ongoing water sampling results are completed, typically 48 hours. The District will rescind this precautionary measure once satisfactory results have been confirmed.
